Before the Election: A Collection of Photos Leading up to the Primary

Every four years, New Hampshire becomes a political spectacle that starts the presidential election process. The year 2024 has not been different than any other presidential election. Towns like Manchester, Keene, Rochester, Nashua, and the capital, Concord, were filled with meet-and-greets and rallies of Democratic and Republican candidates. The locations of the events varied from coffee shops and restaurants to middle school libraries, country clubs, and even arenas. Presidential candidates Nikki Haley, Marianne Williamson, Dean Phillips, and Donald Trump all had rallies and meet and greets for five days to gain the support of New Hampshire voters.

These events all gathered diverse groups of people. Whether they were supporters, protesters, or just listeners, this photo essay exhibits the energy of each candidate and their events.
